Eriksson Kaner
After appearing on the scene and gaining traction from his first releases, Eriksson Kaner released his debut vinyl 'Ithaca' in collaboration with Sascha Create, taking inspiration from a poem by Constantine Cavafy, along with Homer’s Odyssey - an epic about life's journey and being at peace when it ends. The record saw features from two of London's finest young sax players, including Kaidi Akinnibi (long term collaborator of Tom Misch, amongst others) and James Akers (of the Levitation Orchestra).
Eriksson's debut record is set to be released later in the year on Lordship Loft Recordings (the label he co-founded with Mom Tudie on which all of their catalogue's are released) which will feature artists from across the London scene.
Eriksson Kaner and Sascha Create's collaboration is also set to release new music later in the year on Lordship Loft Recordings. EK is a member of Levitation Orchestra, founded by Axel Kaner-Lidström - an 11-piece group who's collectively written music explores new sonic realms on a daily basis.
